Warning after spike in number-plate thefts
Number plate thefts are on the increase in the Ashfield area, police have said.
Nottinghamshire Police say there has been an increase in the past two months and are urging motorists to report the thefts to officers. The plates are often fitted to other vehicles and used in crimes, including avoiding paying for fuel.
