Warning over rural daylight robbery

POLICE are warning residents in villages and rural areas around Gainsborough to be vigilant after a number of daylight robberies.

The latest was in Sykes Lane, Saxilby, on Wednesday 6th June.

While the residents were in the garden, a quantity of jewellery and cash was stolen.

“You cannot be remiss - you must pay attention and lock your doors,” said PCSO Melanie Goodwill.

“All rural villages are at risk.”

“Please continue to report any suspicious activity. We need your help and assistance if we are to combat these criminals.”
