Wat-er wonderful adventure for Epworth students

School studies were taken outdoors by a party from Epworth who journeyed north for a while.

Over 70 year eight South Axholme Academy students took part in an Outdoor and Adventurous Activities trip to Low Mill, and an activities centre based in Askrigg North Yorkshire.

South Axholme’s PE department organises the annual trip that is very popular with pupils, who can try in a variety of activities including abseiling, gorge walking, caving, canoeing and mountain biking. A staff spokesman said: “It is an excellent way of trying new activities and helps students build confidence in their own abilities and as part of a team.”
