Gavin Evans contacted to report concerns after several people in the village fell ill last week.
A Severn Trent spokesman said three properties had been tested over 24 hours.
“Early indications based on chlorine levels at all three properties suggest that there is no problem with the water and there is no need for customers in the area to be concerned. Both our treatment works and distribution network are strictly regulated and the water is tested regularly. There has been no evidence of any contamination in the area,” she said.
