An open day held earlier this week gave local people the opportunity to see plans for the homes and find out how to apply.

Sarah Sutton, Head of Allocations at Waterloo Housing Group, said: “Our open day was very successful but if you weren’t able to make it, you can still register at www.homesdirect.org.uk but need to bid by Sunday March 13 if you’re interested a rented property.

“Councillor Gray, Portfolio Holder for Communities at East Lindsey District Council, said the district council has provided grant funding to Waterloo Housing to enable them to build much needed affordable housing for local people”.

There will be a total of 31 houses and bungalows available to rent, and seven homes available for part rent/part buy through shared ownership.

The homes are expected to be available to move in to by the end of May.
