WEATHER: Heavy rain and strong winds for Gainsborough

The Met Office has forecast heavy rain and strong winds across the East Midlands this weekend.

Today will be fairly mild, with patchy drizzle at times - with the outbreaks of rain becoming heavier towards this evening. Highs of 11°C.

The rain and brisk winds will pick up overnight and towards tomorrow morning. Lows of 7°C.

This is expected to continue throughout Saturday and Sunday.
