West Lindsey: High food hygiene ratings across West Lindsey

If you are heading out for a romantic meal to celebrate Valentine’s Day before deciding where to go why not take a look at West Lindsey District Council’s Food Hygiene Rating Scheme.

Ninety four per cent of eateries in West Lindsey have a hygiene rating of three or more with 0 meaning ‘urgent improvement necessary’ and 5 meaning ‘very good’.

Coun Jessie Milne, Chairman of the Licensing and Regulatory Committee, said: “Valentine’s Day is a busy time for our local restaurants, cafes and pubs and the majority of food businesses in the West Lindsey area are rated 3 or above.
