In February this year, the victim was approached by three men who asked if he wanted his roof repairing.

They agreed a price and the men are alleged to have returned over the next few days, when they said further work needed to be carried out for an additional cost, which he paid.

After they returned again, the victims neighbours became concerned about what work was actually being carried out.

Following inquiries Stewart was arrested and charged.

He is due to appear before magistrates in Chesterfield on Monday, 18th November.
