Wilkinson worker dies

George Hancock was on fork lift duties on Monday evening when he was taken to hospital where he died.

A company spokesman said: “We are very sorry to confirm that George Hancock, a valued team member, died on Monday night. He was carrying out his normal duties at our Worksop Distribution Centre. Emergency services were called immediately to provide support.”

“Our thoughts are with his family and team members who worked alongside him. A full investigation is currently underway.”

“The company will offer all possible support to the family and other team members at this difficult time.”
