Wishes at Skegness Aquarium bring in cash for charity

A wishing well at a Skegness attraction has raised hundreds of pounds for an environmental charity.

Over the past six months, the feature at the Skegness Aquarium has brought in £465.69 from visitors for the Marine Conservation Society (MCS).

Supervisor at the aquarium Louise Chapman said: “MCS is very close to our hearts, they conserve and protect our coast.”

Katharine Sharp, from MCS, said: “We are thrilled that Skegness Aquarium has chosen to support MCS with a donation.

“The money will go towards supporting our ongoing conservation work and campaigns, tackling pollution in our seas, championing sustainable seafood and protecting the wonderful wildlife we find in UK waters.”
