Witness appeal after motorcyclist dies in collision on A16 at Partney

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a collision on the A16 at Partney.

Officers were called at 4.28pm on Monday to an accident involving a car and a red Ducati motorbike near the roundabout with the A158.

The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old-man from the local area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and passengers in the car, a grey Jeep Cherokee, were uninjured.

The road was closed for some time following the incident. It was re-opened at around 9.45pm.
