Witness plea to serious accident on Heckington bypass
Police are seeking witnesses to a serious accident on the A17 Heckington bypass which closed the road for more than five hours.
A silver Honda Accord driven by a 41-year-old Boston man was in collision with a with a white Iveco Luton style van with two occupants at about 6pm yesterday.
The Honda driver was taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston with back injuries. He was later transferred to QMC Nottingham and remains there in a stable condition. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Occupants of the van went to Pilgrim Hospital with minor injuries.
