Woman in 20s seriously injured in collision in Burgh le Marsh

A woman in her 20s was airlifted to hospital after suffering a serious injuries in a collision in Burgh le Marsh.

The collision was reported at 8.16am today (Wednesday) and involved a Toyota Yaris and a Ford Focus.

The injured woman had been driving the Yaris along Skegness Road. Two passengers in the Yaris received minor injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen this collision to contact them - in particular a van believed to have been travelling behind a Toyota truck which indicated right to turn in to the layby on Skegness Road around the time of the collision.

Also anyone with dashcam footage may have vital information.
