Woolwich murder: Suspects to appear in court

Two men charged with murdering soldier Lee Rigby in Woolwich are due in court this morning (Monday).

Michael Adebolajo will make his first court appearance since being charged by police on Saturday when he appears before Westminster magistrates.

The 28-year-old’s family home in Saxilby was raided as part of the investigation into the attack on Drummer Le Rigby on 22nd May.

Adebolajo, who now lives in Romford, Essex, stands accused of murder, attempted murder and firearms offences.

Michael Adebowale, 22, from Greenwich, will appear before the Old Bailey via video link. He has already appeared in court and was remanded in custody on Thursday.
