Workshops in Louth and Horncastle offer support for East Lindsey businesses

These events, actually hosted on local businesses premises, are providing the perfect opportunity for local enterprises to develop management and communication skills, providing the tools to boost productivity and transform their businesses.

Following successful workshops on employment best practice and new leadership approaches, the next event is being held on June 30 at Luxus, Fairfield Industrial Estate, Louth.

It will provide tools and techniques for staff seeking to achieve more and improve their performance, focus, confidence and happiness whilst reducing information overload, procrastination and that stressful feeling of spinning too many plates!

A small number of places remain unfilled, and businesses are invited to attend the full day workshop. All events are free of charge for eligible East Lindsey-based businesses, although places are limited so booking is essential.

If you can’t make this event, but would like to find out more about the Rural Lincolnshire Enterprise Hub, join the next Hub network meeting from 9am to 10.30am on June 16, hosted by Mortons Media Group Technology Hub in Horncastle.

The informal meeting, open to all local businesses, will include guest speakers updating members on newly-available local business support and grant programmes plus an insight into the latest technology obsession: ‘the Internet of things’.

ELDC’s Portfolio Holder for Market Towns and Rural Economy, Councillor Adam Grist, added: “These free skills workshops are a great opportunity for local businesses in East Lindsey, large or small, helping employers to keep up to date with employment law and providing ideas on ways to motivate their staff. Essential skills workshops like this can have a positive impact on the economy for the area.”
