Chris Ward, the BHF Area Manager, said: “I would like to say a big thank-you to our staff, volunteers and all our loyal customers who have supported the Worksop Furniture & Electrical store over the past six months. Thanks to your generous donations and support BHF researchers are able to continue their relentless search for a breakthrough to put an end to the suffering caused by heart disease.

“We’re hoping that the people of Worksop will continue to support us, and we urge them to continue donating unwanted household items that will help save lives.

“We’re also appealing to any local people who have some spare time to consider volunteering at the Worksop store – we have roles to suit everyone. Just pop into the store or give us a call to find out more.”
