Worksop: Brandon will benefit from 190 mile charity trek

Sean Tamburrini and Lee Everett, who are both ex-military personnel, were originally only collecting funds for The Sheffield Children’s Hospital, PTSD Awareness and Alzheimer’s Research as part of the charity trek.

But the pair jumped at the chance to add another great cause to their fundraising list after meeting four-year-old Brandon Craske-Playfoot, who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Brandon’s family are aiming to raise £50,000 in order to renovate their home and give the inspirational boy the best quality of life possible.

Sean said: “Lee and I were delighted to meet Brandon when a friend of ours put us in touch with his family.

“He is a cheeky and genuine little lad who is full of energy and we are keen to help him in any way we can.

“Our fundraising target is £2,000, which will be split between the four causes.

“If we raised anything more than that it would be a bonus, so we are hoping residents will support us in our quest and dig deep.”

Sean and Lee are aiming to complete the route, which spans from the Irish Sea to the North Sea, over a five-day period.

Brandon and his family, along with the Sean and Le’s family and friends, are planning to meet them at the finish line.
