Worksop: Burglar flees with Christmas presents after elderly woman held at knifepoint

A cruel burglar made off with Christmas presents after he held an elderly lady at knifepoint in her own home.

Police are investigating the incident that occurred on Dickens Road at around 10pm on Friday 19th December.

Christmas presents were stolen from underneath her tree and cash was also taken.

The offender is thought to have been wearing a dark hoody with a dark beanie hat on over his hood and a white scarf over the lower half of his mouth. He ran off towards Plantation Hill.

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously.
