Worksop: Christmas fair raises almost £1,000 for school
Santa visited Gateford Park Primary School in Worksop to be part of their annual Christmas fair, which raised almost £1,000.
The fair is organised by Gateford Oaks PTA and involves children across the school who make and sell gift items and run games and other stalls.
Karen Drury, chairman of the PTA, said: “Thank you to everyone who helped out and the local businesses who donated raffle prizes or provided other support.”
“We’re delighted to have raised almost £1,000 which can be used to help buy equipment and other resources for the school.”
