Worksop: Countdown is on until 999 emergency services day at Clumber

Clumber Park, the National Trust’s flagship attraction, will host the popular event on Sunday, August 30.

As well as favourites such as fire engines, police cars and ambulances, visitors will be able to see a host of specialist vehicles and resources, including specialist rescue vehicles, emergency response motorbikes, an aerial ladder platform, incident command units, rescue boats and specially trained rescue and fire investigation dogs. A host of vintage emergency vehicles will also be on display.

Notts Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) station manager, Matt Reavill, said: “The event has become a popular fixture in the calendars of all three blue light services in Nottinghamshire and is a great opportunity for us showcase some of our vehicles and resources, and to tell people more about the work we do, particularly how we work with each other when responding to incidents, promoting safety within our communities or carrying out investigative work.

The event, 10am-4pm, is free, but usual National Trust charges apply.
