Worksop: Drink driver is given a 24 month ban

A Worksop man has been disqualified from driving for 24 months after he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol.

David Wilde, 36, of Mendip Court, Carlton-in-Lindrick, was found with 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitires of breath on 16th June.

Wilde pleaded guilty to this offence when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates Court on Thursday 2nd July.

Wilde was banned from driving for 24 months, which will be reduced by 26 weeks if he undergoes a drink driving course.

He was also given a 12 month community order, 100 hours unpaid work, £85 costs, £60 victim surcharge and £150 criminal court charges.
