Consisting of over 50 retail tenants and a vintage tearoom, the centre promises to offer locals and visitors a place to learn a new skill, buy items, sell items and be part of a creative community.
Louise Anderson, 35, from Sheffield, said she ‘fell in love’ with the Grade II listed building and could think of no reason not to set up an Arts and Crafts Centre there.
Said Louise: “The beautiful Grade II former council offices is the perfect building for this business, with dramatic features, an internal courtyard and stables.”
“I want to support new businesses in taking their first step in the industry, and create a positive and exciting experience for the residents of Worksop- there will also be free parking.”
Businsesses to open at the Centre include Wortley Vintage and Craft Shop, Vintage Sweethearts and The Pretty Little Keepsakes Company.
