Worksop: Information still being collected into pub ‘glassing’ incident

Details are still being established into what happened leading up to an incident in which a woman was the victim of a ‘glassing’ attack at a Worksop pub.

The woman, believed to be a staff member, was taken to hospital following the incident, which happened early on Saturday evening (17th May) at The Ashley on Carlton Road.

Pub management are not commenting but the pub’s brewery owners Greene King say they are now looking into what may have happened and will establish all facts before making any comment.

Notts police are also still establishing what facts they can at this stage before making any comment.
