Shocked staff at The Old Vicarage Care Home, Newcastle Avenue, were presented with the rose on Tuesday 19th February.

A woman whose mother is a resident at the home, said: “The staff are so very caring, they treat all of the residents.”

“They work very long hours and are never off their feet.”

“A lot come in on their days off in an emergency.”
