Darren Morley, 48, of Monmouth Road, went to the barber’s on Bridge Place in the town, forgetting he was banned from entering any part of that area of the town.

Worksop Magistrates’ Court that Morley – also know locally as Marley – had always gone to that barbers because they cut his hair for a special cheap rate.

Morley was served with his ASBO for drink-related offences last year but had appeared not to realised that the order extended to all activity in certain areas of the town.

He was picked up on CCTV on Bridge Place and was then arrested by police.

Defending, Miss Moira MacFarlane said: “Mr Morley full co-operated with police and admitted straight away what he had done.”

“His incidents in the past have been when he has been in drink but he was not in drink this time and he had no drink on him.”

“He was only just on to Bridge Place and simply made a mistake.”

Morley was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.
