Kamil Dantes, of Hardwick Road East, is accused of killing Leszek and Malgorzata Dantes, both aged 54.

Post-mortem examinations concluded they both died from stab wounds.

Mr Dantes will appear at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday 2nd April for mention.

Police were called to the property in the town at around 7am on Monday 21st April 2014.

Neighbours said it was a quiet Bank Holiday Monday before there were ‘blue lights everywhere’.

Dantes was first taken to hospital before he was then transferred to the police station later that week.

He was charged with their murders on Friday 25th April 2014.

At the time, Inspector Phil Davies said: “I would like to reassure the community that incidents of this nature are very rare.”

Mr and Mrs Dantes were believed to have lived in the house for around eight months.

Their son was thought to have been a former employee at Greencore.

Last year, neighbour Faye Peacock told the Guardian: “They were very nice people, great people. When the lady first moved in she brought me a cake and said ‘this is for you’.”
