Worksop: Man dies after car goes into canal in Rhodesia

The 21-year-old was driving along Shireoaks Road in Rhodesia, when the accident happened at around 9.15pm last night (Thursday).

Notts Police said a white Kia left the road and went into Chesterfield Canal.

The driver, from the Worksop area, was taken to Bassetlaw hospital but later died.

The road was closed while recovery of the vehicle took place and was reopend at about 2.45am today (Friday).
