Worksop: Man smashes van window with catapult

A man from Worksop was caught smashing a window of a van with a catapult.

Christopher Barker, 24, of Vicars Walk, Worksop, pleaded guilty to the offence at Worksop Magistrates’ court on Thursday 9th October.

Witnesses saw two males walking over to two vans and saw Barker using a catapult to smash one of the windows.

Barker then proceeded to have a look inside the van. Nothing was taken from the incident. He was ordered to 180 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £190 in compensation.
