Worksop: Meet fire investigation dog at station open day
Families and friends are being urged to attend an open day at Worksop Fire Station on Saturday.
The service’s new fire investigation dog, Dexter, will be making a guest appearance while crews will be demonstrating rescues from both a tower and a car crash.
A BBQ will also be on offer during the day – which starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm - as well as a tombola and a Fire Fighters’ Charity stall.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the public to the station on Saturday,” said Worksop watch manager, Layne Buckley.
