Worksop: National Fluid Power Centre welcome international and national companies to Industry Day

The National Fluid Power Centre welcomed a number of national and international companies to a recent Industry Day.

The free event, on Carlton Road, took place on Wednesday 18th February with professionals from companies such as Shell (UK), Kawasaki Precision Machinery and Yuken Europe all exhibiting.

Around 250 visitors experienced the practical facilities in action, spoke to training engineers and attended informative presentations.

People were also able to speak to advisory member companies about their products, services and career opportunities.

Director, John Savage, said: ”The 18th February was an outstanding day for the UKs National Fluid Power Centre.”

“It hosted some 38 national and international companies representing the best of the UKs Fluid Power Industry.”

“Over 250 visitors and exhibitors attended the open day and to support the NFPC contributing greatly to the skills and knowledge developments of the UK workforce. A proud day for Worksop, hosting such a prestigious event.”
