The Worksop school entered a competition in July through the British Leafy Salad Association’s Grow Your Own Salad Initiative.

This was judged by Peter Seabrook, The Sun’s gardening columnist, and the children featured in the paper.

They also won £500 in national garden gift vouchers to further develop the school’s horticultural and eco-commitment within the school.
