Following numerous failed attempts due to the vagaries of the British weather, Richard and Thomas Mellor finally achieved their aim when they took part in a tandem charity dive on 31st August.

After reaching the optimum height of 13,000 feet they carried out a free fall for 6,000 feet before the parachute opened.

Mellor & Beer Estate Agents in Worksop sponsored the event in order to raise vital funds for their chosen charity, the Children’s Hospital at Sheffield.

Both James Mellor and Tim Beer would like to thank everyone who sponsored the charity event which has raised over £1,800.
