Worksop: Police appeal for help to find bodykit thieves

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a factory-fitted body kit was stolen from a car in Worksop.

The incident took place at an address at Wharfdale in the town are around 8am on Monday, 13th January.

The car, a Vauxhall Astra Sport, was parked on a driveway on Wharfdale when the theft occured.

Police have no leads at this stage and are now appealing to the public for help.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this, saw anything suspicious around the area on the day or knows where this bodykit might now be,” said a police spokesman.

Police are also investigating the disappearance of a car from Coach Lane near Clumber Park sometime between 6.30pm on 6th January and 3pm on 9th January when the car was reported missing.

The vehicle is a green Ford Ka with the registration number EJ52 EHF.

Prior to it going missing, the car was damaged by fire.

Police are now keen to establish whether the car has simply been moved as part of the ongoing business dealing with the fire damage, or has been stolen.
