Worksop: Rotary raises £500 at annual collection
Members of Worksop Rotary held their annual charity collection at Tesco on Gateford Road in December.
They handed out flyers explaining where donations were made from the 2012 collection, while collecting £500 during the day for local good causes.
The money will be distributed during this year.
A few days later, members and guests gathered at The Lion Hotel in Worksop for the annual Christmas party. Reverend Tony Herzwell gave a seasonal address and women were given a cyclamen.
Worksop Rotary meets every Tuesday evening from 7pm at The Lion Hotel. Everyone is welcome to attend.
