Worksop: Severe disruption to rail services between Worksop and Nottingham

The Nottingham Resignalling Project is set to cause major disruptions to local services including the Mansfield Woodhouse/Worksop to Nottingham line.

Stations affected will be Nottingham, Bulwell, Hucknall, Newstead, Kirkby in Ashfield, Sutton Parkway, Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse, Shirebrook, Langwith-Whaley Thorns, Creswell, Whitwell and Worksop.

A rail replacement bus service will run in place of the normal train service during the works, which run from 20th July to 25th August.

An hourly bus service will run from Mansfield to Worksop, while four buses an hour will run between Nottingham and Mansfield/Mansfield Woodhouse.

The £100 million scheme by Network Rail is to improve Nottingham station and transform the railways around the city.
