Annual Santa Dash in aid of Aurora Wellbeing Centre, the Santa Dash gets underway (w121201-1d)

There is still time to Santa up for a charity Santa dash around Worksop on Sunday.

Participants will don dazzling Santa suits for the run around the Canch, all in aid of charity.

The event in Sunday 15th December will see hundreds of jolly red Santas dashing along a 3km route.

The warm up begins at 10.30am and the race at 11am.

Not only will it be great fun, it is raising much-needed cash for cancer charity Aurora.

Once runners have recovered and caught their breath, there will be an array of Christmas stalls and a winter wonderland for the kids to enjoy at the Aurora Wellbeing Centre - the old library building on Memorial Avenue.

All it costs is £8 to enter, which includes a full Santa suit, beard and medal. Accompanied under-14s can go as Rudolph for £3, which includes antlers and medal.
