Worksop Town and Doncaster College to host Football Academy open day

The event will take place in two parts, with the first at the Glassworks on Sandy Lane, Worksop, and the second at Sandy Lane football ground itself, in the clubhouse.

Part one, starting at 4.15pm, will be a practical coaching session, giving an insight into the work students will do on the pitch during the course.

The second part of the open day will begin at 6pm and include a buffet and a presentation from Doncaster College on the education side of the Academy, with its BTEC qualifications.

Worksop Town coaching staff and members of the committee will also be on hand to explain how the course will run, and the club’s vision behind it.

The open day will also reveal more details about the Academy’s location in Worksop.
