The free programme of events kicks off next Thursday (27th March) at the Worksop Turbine Innovation Centre with a full-day workshop on Leadership in Management led by Ian Thompson of Procentus Consulting, an international management and leadership development consultancy.

Using a practical, hands on approach, Ian will cover the essential elements of leadership and its importance to organisation success. The session runs from 9am to 4.30pm.

People are one of the key assets of any business and therefore it is critical in today’s dynamic and competitive operating environment that staff productivity is as good as it can be,” said Rachel Panther, East Midlands Regional Director for Oxford Innovation, who heads up the Spark Notts initiative.

“This is not achieved by static management but by strong leadership throughout the organisation, and not just at the top.”

“The workshop will give each delegate an understanding of what they need to do in order to inject that essential leadership element into their management roles and an action plan to make it happen.”

Spark Notts has announced two more free seminars: Planning for Profits – How to Make Money From Your Business, which will be delivered by Oxford Innovation’s resident business growth coaches, and 50 Ways To Promote Your Business Online’ which will be in partnership with Hallam Internet, a digital marketing agency with more than 35 years combined experience in online marketing.
