Wragby's running rector takes on 10k for church fund

He will be taking part in this year’s Lincoln 10k, which takes place in the city on Sunday April 17.

“I am not a regular runner, so I thought this would be a bit of a challenge -something different,” said the 55-year-old.

“I have found the training hard, but I plan to run all the way.”

The funds raised will be shared throughout the group, which includes the churches of Wragby, Rand, Langton-by-Wragby, Holton cum Beckering, Snelland and Wickenby.

“Whatever people can give in sponsorship will be very gratefully received to help continue the work of the churches,” added the Rev Holden.

“And there is still time for anyone else to enter the race too and get their own sponsorship.”
