Write a love note today

Traditionally, 29th February is the only date women can propose to their man and over a third of people in Notts think it is a great opportunity - according to research by British Heart Foundation.

The charity is to launch its annual Love Notes fundraising campaign as part of National Heart Month this February.

For a donation of £1, Love Notes offer romantics, both men and women, a chance to declare their true love in front of thousands between 16th January and 14th February, by writing a Love Note to display in Notts BHF shop windows for all to see.

And one lucky lady who writes a Love Note will be given the opportunity to propose at London’s Piccadilly Lights on Wednesday 29th February.
