WW1 money for Louth and Horncastle

Following a recent visit to Alford to open the third stage of the First World War exhibition, Victoria Atkins MP is reminding her constituents in Louth and Horncastle of the Heritage Lottery funding available to explore stories about local people involved in the exhibition.

Victoria said: “During this centenary, especially of the Battle of the Somme in 1916, I urge people with knowledge of relatives, friends and neighbours involved in that dreadful conflict to bid for grant aid to publicise these connections and keep the memories alive for future interest”.

Grants of up to £10,000 could be available, and contact should be made via www.hlf.org.uk
