Young breath-test driver to face trial

A young driver who says she suffered a panic attack and was unable to provide a breath test is to face a trial.

Fatou Skanefors, 21, of Princess Street, Mansfield, was charged with failing to provide a specimen 
for analysis on November 14.

Appearing at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court, she was not represented and entered a not-guilty plea during the short hearing.

She was told by the clerk of the court that she must provide a medical report from her doctor about her panic attacks and was advised to seek legal counsel for her trial.

She was given unconditional bail and will appear again for the trial on February 15 next year.
