Tom Platt remains 'two or three weeks' away from a return to action.

The Boston United midfielder limped out of the Pilgrims' 1-1 draw at Bradford Park Avenue earlier this month with a hamstring injury.

He already missed four matches in November and December with a similar problem with his other leg.

At present, United are scheduled to return from a fortnight's suspension of the National League North at Curzon Ashton on Saturday.

However, if action goes ahead this will be too soon for Platt.

"If there's one big positive (from action being halted) it's that it has fallen nicely for him," manager Craig Elliott said.

"We were in isolation last time he got injured as well.

"I think he is maybe two or three weeks off, but if we do come back (on Saturday) we won't have missed him for too long."
