Village gym teams up with volunteer-run community swimming pool

Metheringham Gym has announced a partnership with Metheringham Swimming Pool.

The facilities – located in The Moorlands and Prince’s Street respectively – are to offer a gym and swim membership this summer.

It will be priced at £33 per month, which includes 24/7 access to the gym.

A spokesman for the gym said: “We believe in not only in growing strength within our members, but also growing strength within the local community. We saw it was the perfect opportunity for us to help the local pool that relies mainly on amazing voluntary work.”

It is hoped the memberships can start being offered from next month.
