One of the shows, Obi-Wan Kenobi, will see Hayden Christensen reprise the role of Darth Vadar alongside prequel co-star Ewan McGregor.
The announcement follows the success of The Mandalorian on Disney+, which has paved the way for a further two spinoff shows.
What are the 10 Star Wars spinoffs announced by Disney?
Speaking at the Walt Disney Company Investor Day on Thursday 10 December, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy sent shockwaves through the Star Wars galaxy.

Is Hayden Christensen really returning as Darth Vadar?
One of the franchise’s most loved characters, Obi-Wan, will return for a series set 10 years after Revenge of the Sith, which saw his Jedi apprentice turn into the evil Darth Vadar.
The show, Obi-Wan Kenobi, will be directed by Deborah Chow, who worked on season one of The Mandalorian, and will see Christensen return as Sith Lord Vadar.
“It was such an incredible journey playing Anakin Skywalker,” said Christensen.
“Of course, Anakin and Obi-Wan weren’t on the greatest of terms when we last saw them. It will be interesting to see what an amazing director like Deborah Chow has in store for us all. I’m excited to work with Ewan again. It feels good to be back.”
When is the next Star Wars film?
The next Star Wars film, titled Rogue Squadron, will be directed by Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman). It will be the first live-action Star Wars film to be directed by a woman.
“Patty has established herself as one of the top directors working in the film industry today,” said Kennedy. “She’s a visionary who knows how to strike the balance between action and heart, and I can’t wait to see what she does in the Star Wars galaxy.”
The film's storyline will lead the Star Wars saga into the future era of the galaxy, introducing a new generation of starfighter pilots on their missions.
Rogue Squadron is scheduled for a Christmas 2023 release.
