Pubs and restaurants may have been closed to customers since lockdown was enforced across the UK at the end of March, but some businesses are now slowly starting to reopen.

Joining the likes of McDonald’s and KFC, Greene King pubs has announced it is launching a pub food delivery and takeaway service at select locations.
When will the service launch?
The new service will launch at a number of Greene King pubs via Deliveroo, or through click and collect.
Customers will also be able to order alcohol from a selection of bottles and cans.
Delivery and takeaway will be on offer as of Friday 22 May 2020, but will only be available at a selection of pubs based in London.
The pub chain has said that customers will be given a reduced menu to order from when the new food service is launched, so that it can cater for transportation needs.

However, the menu will still feature a number of pub favourites, including beer battered haddock and chips, and roast dinners on a Sunday.
What safety measures will be in place?
Greene King is introducing a range of new safety measures to ensure staff are kept safe while preparing food.
This will include the use of personal protective equipment, more stringent hygiene routines, and ensuring delivery drivers use separate entrances to help maintain social distancing.
Customers will be asked to pay online before they pick up their food, and social distancing markers will be in place on collection, along with hand sanitiser stations at the entrances.
Those who order via Deliveroo will have to pay a delivery fee on top of their order, and the click and collect service can be found on the Greene King website.
