Ryanair is selling flights as cheap as £4.99 – here's when the offers end

Ryanair has launched a new sale, with flights to sought-after destinations starting at just £4.99.

The budget airline has unveiled heavily discounted prices on some of its most popular routes.

The dates in question run through April 2020 to June 2020, but be quick - the sale concludes on Sunday 2 February.

The incredible offers include London Stansted to Carcassonne in France one way for £4.99, and one way trips to Barcelona from Manchester for just £9.99.

Passengers in Scotland can fly from Edinburgh to Luxembourg for just £7.99, while those in Yorkshire can go from Leeds Bradford to Warsaw for just £12.99.

That's just the tip of the iceberg though, and there are hundreds of other low-cost flights available to and from popular destinations.

The airline warns that there is "limited availability" on all flights, and with the sale's closing date coming up soon, you're going to want to get those last-minute holiday plans into shape quickly.

The most expensive flight on offer is a one-way trip to Faro in Portugal from Newquay for £92.99, so there are some great offers to be had here.

How will Brexit affect my trip?

For those concerned about what Brexit means for their travel plans after 31 January, Gov.uk explains that there are currently no plans to require visas for travel between the UK and the rest of Europe.

“You will not need a visa for short trips to EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland,” the website states.

Abta.com explains that "Valid passports can still be used. You do not need to have six months left on your passport to travel to the EU. Your passport does however need to be valid for the whole of your trip."

There is an online tool available which allows you to check whether your passport is valid for the country you’re visiting.

"As long as you have a full UK driving licence, you don’t currently need an additional licence to drive in the EU. This will not change following 31 January 2020," adds Abta.com.
