In the council’s first newsletter of 2020, they said the new Tower Gardens Pavilion is in the final stage of completion.

The project has been funded with a £1,460,000 loan to build a community building for the town, which was reported in April of last year.

It replaces the former Tower Pavilion, which stood on the site for 130 years before being demolished.

Already the council is seeking an ‘experenced manager with high standards’ for the centre’s Café Dansant, as it prepares for the move from the Town Hall on North Parade to Tower Gardens.

This follows the asset transfer of the park from East Lindsey District Council.

ELDC continues to manage and maintain the toilets using their contractor.
