The ladies team once again finished top of their section, with the men second, boys third and girls eighth in their respective categories.

Team manager, Peter Fendley said: “Congratulations to everyone who took part and did such a great job in promoting Worksop Harriers as afamily club”.

“It was really uplifting to see mums and dads competing in the same league match as their children.”

“We still have three matches to go, so none of our teams can be complacent but there is a real possibility of at least one Lincs League title this year.”

The ladies team proved their win in the first match was no fluke, with an even more emphatic victory.

The men finished in second, and moved up from third to second in the League standings, while the boys lie third overall and the girls seventh.

“It shows that we are starting to form a senior track and field team to give our current juniors something to aim for.”
