A late score robs Blue and Whites of victory
Instead the Blue and Whites, bottom of the table, had to settle for a losing bonus point.
Boston welcomed back two of their backs who had been unavailable for different reasons - Ben Woolaston due to work commitments and Michael Baldwin a result of a long term injury.
Both players were itching to get back into action.
A new look front row saw Alan Phoenix move to prop and Paul Beard come in at hooker.
It would be winger Baldwin who made his mark on 19 minutes, charging down a kick from his opposite winger to chase down and win the race to score the first try, moving Boston 5-0 ahead.
On 27 minutes Woolaston would make the headlines for a different reason, when he was yellow carded for a tip tackle. It would be during the 10-minute break, with the home side reduced to 14 men, that Ollerton levelled the scores to see both teams enter half time level.
The second half ebbed and flowed as Ollerton had two attempts at a penalty to move 5-8 ahead on 25 minutes.
It would be scrum half Zeph Chapman who produced a fantastic kick and chase, from outside Ollerton’s 22, to score, the try converted by Matt Bray, taking Boston into a 12-8 lead.
With five minutes left, Boston had to manage the game to run down the clock.
However, due to lapses in concentration, it would be the visitors who ended the stronger.
On Saturday Boston travel to play Amber Valley, who will be looking for revenge after Boston beat them earlier in the season.
Kick off will be at 2.15pm.
All support is welcomed.
